Where Is God When I Am Lonely?

Loneliness has been termed the most desolate word in the English language. It is no respecter of age, race, economic status or intelligence. Anyone, anywhere can suffer from it, even in a crowd. But Jesusí heart beats for the lonely. After all, the Father named His Son, ìëImmanuelí (which means ëGod with usí)î (Matthew 1:23). When we feel most isolated, misunderstood and alone, our Lord draws even closer.
